Solo Low Footboard Floor Bed.

This bed is designed for care at home needs and has all the functionality of a hospital bed but with its included headboard and footboard, looks at home in your home.

If you or your loved one requires advanced care at home, the Solo profiling floor bed is a great solution.

The Solo has an incredibly low floor height which makes it suitable for persons with Dementia and other cognitive conditions, the mattress platform can lower down to 11cm from the floor and raise up to 73.5cm.

The Solo is classed as a floor bed which gives a safe sleeping height and reduces the risk of injury from bed falls. This feature allows for the omission of side rails if preferred. 

This profiling bed has an ‘all-in-one’ height range where the whole bed can raise up to waist level, and lower down to the floor.

This bed also has an advanced auto regression feature, this allows the back rest to elevate and profile but the mattress stays in place, the auto regression allows you to sit more upright to help with respiratory problems and prevents stomach compression.

The Solo also features the "Anti-Trendelenburg" function, this raises the bed at an incline so that your head is higher than your legs, this position helps provide pressure relief, improves respiration and circulation throughout your whole body.

Suitable For Taller Users.

The Solo Floor bed also has a built in length extension option, this allows for an extra 20cm to be added to the beds length.

Impulse Air Hybrid Mattress.

The Opera® Impulse Powered Hybrid Profiling Mattress combines static and active mattress technologies to provide advanced pressure relief and the highest levels of user comfort.

It also features adjustable firmness. The Impulse Hybrid Mattress is able to vary in firmness as it can be used with or without the pump.

The mattress on its own and without the pump is a medium firmness and provides a supporting surface for high risk users.

If a firmer surface is required for the mattress, the airflow can be adjusted by using the pump.

Mattress Features.

• Pressure Risk Category: Very High - The Impulse Hybrid mattress is suitable for users who are at a very high risk of developing a pressure sore. The mattress uses a combination of static and active technologies in order to stimulate advanced pressure relief to those with a severe likelihood of developing pressure sores.
• Three-Zone Pressure Relieving Surface - The layered foam and air cell composition of the Impulse ensures optimum comfort and pressure relief. A three-zone lying surface includes a broad-castellation head zone for comfort and a gel-infused heel zone for pressure reducing envelopment on this vulnerable area of skin.
• Firmness: Adjustable - The Impulse Hybrid Mattress is able to vary in firmness as it can be used with or without the pump. The Serene mattress has a one year warranty and the Ultimate mattress has a 3 year warranty.
